Staff on this unit practice within the team nursing model and consider teamwork our greatest strength in providing safe quality and compassionate patient care. Requirements of the Ideal Candidate: Graduate of RN School of Nursing ADN required; BSN preferred Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas Preferred 1218 Months of RN experience Acute Care or Hospital setting preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Required. Functions competently and effectively under pressure and emergency situationsQualificationsGrad of an Accredited ProgramSpecialized field of study should be have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
