Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking an organized and detailoriented FinOps Reconciliation Specialist to join our team focusing on the reconciliation of acquiring collections and merchant payouts. In this role you will manage the reconciliation of payment transactions between payment processors acquiring banks merchants and our internal systems. You will ensure that all merchant payouts and collections are accurate track discrepancies and maintain smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquiring Collections: Reconcile daily collections from payment gateways banks and processors identify discrepancies and collaborate with teams for resolution.
- Merchant Payouts: Oversee timely merchant payouts reconcile payout reports and handle merchant inquiries regarding discrepancies.
- Reporting & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate financial records generate reports and monitor reconciliation trends.
- Collaboration: Work with finance operations and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all processes comply with regulations and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in reconciliation workflows.
- Audits: Ensure to arrange desired data to the Auditor.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Tech or related field.
- Experience: 5 7 years in financial operations or reconciliation ideally in payments or ecommerce.
- Skills: Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills; proficiency in financial systems EPR/SAP SQL Python and MS Office.
Preferred:
- Experience with payment gateways or FinTech (e.g. pinelabs payu razorpay)
- Strong understanding of financial reconciliation processes and payment systems.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP and SQL and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Experience with automation tools and financial reconciliation software.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
