The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Experienced MechanicalHydraulics Equipment Engineers (Associate or Experienced) to join our team in Everett Washington.
Position Overview:
The selected individuals will work within airplane development engineering teams and interface with suppliers or internal Boeing organizations to oversee development of mechanicalhydraulic systems and associated components for commercial aircraft systems design. Airplane Development work spans the full range of the aircraft lifecycle: initial concept studies development and certification continuous improvement in production and ongoing support for the duration of their service life. Positions include fluid power systems fluid power components and fluid power controls. This position will be supporting development of the 777X family of airplanes.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop system requirements & defining system architecture
Developing or reviewing hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications
Ownership ofcomponent leveldesignrequirements(SourceControl Documents)
Analyze system performance throughmodeling and simulation
Supports the development maintenance or modification of system component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Work with a worldwide supplier base to develop and implement system hardware electronics and software. Contribute to supplier development design reviewstest and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve design compliance.
Develop verify validate and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.
Research & development of technologies for potential future applications
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Everett WA).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.
3 years of Experience in Hydraulics Fluid systems Pressurized reservoirs/tanks motor operated valves and filters
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) at least one of the following:
Hydraulic power control systems and software architecture development
Airplane hydraulic system design and analysis
Aircraft Landing gear design experience
Experience developing hydraulic mechanical components with suppliers
