ARSIEM is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to provide Software Engineering support to theCyber Security Operations mission by designing and implementing prototype software applications using a variety of APIs frameworks and programming position will support one of our government clients in Laurel MD.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions in support of Defensive Cybersecurity Operations.
- Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.
- Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative integrated fastpaced environment using leading technologies.
- Act as the development teams primary point of contact for individual Cybersecurity missions as needed. This positions primary support is to Blue Team missions with opportunities to support Red Hunt and JCMA missions as required.
- Provide mentorship to other developers and be open to learning techniques and tools from other developers.
- Leverage skills to look for areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
- Secondary opportunity to support the Data Science team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Masters degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- For individuals with indepth experience clearly related to the position an associates degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field

$185000 $207000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other laws.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role If you do ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $10000 and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
