Job Description

Structural Analysis Engineer (EntryLevel or Associate)

The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) DesignBuild Military Flight Test Instrumentation team is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer located in Berkeley MO.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry Level and Associate level Structural Analysis Engineers.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the products environment
  • Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment characteristics and performance
  • Develop test plans and configurations supports test and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
  • Support inservice products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
  • Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness quality and efficiency of the development effort
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop future product designs to meet projected requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
  • 1 years of experience working with stress analysis/structural analysis
  • 1 years of experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Boeing Analysis Tool (Common Structures Workstation or XSA)
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis Software (FEMAP Hyperworks PATRAN/NASTRAN or ABAQUS).

Summary pay range for associate level: $76500 $103500

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance PostStart is required.
