Reporting to our Executive Chef you will be
- Responsible for the preparation presentation and display of all menu items.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment and equipment.
- As a leader in our Kitchen you will be expected to develop and coach our junior chefs and provide them with learning opportunities and access to your experience and knowledge.
- As our Chef de Partie you will also have the opportunity to work alongside our Executive and Sous Chef on menu development and creation.
Qualifications :
- Due to the highvolume nature of the role you will be adept at working under pressure in a highvolume environment
- Trade qualification and experience in a similar role preferably within a hotel environment.
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.
- Exemplary communication skills and organisational skills.
- Available for a rotating rosters that include early morning starts.
