Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- As a true senior dev youll be eager and ready to join us in building every day.
- Design develop and maintain Javabased applications and services from the ground up in a new platform and suite of products while providing technical leadership.
- Offer engineering design solutions and input while collaborating with the team.
- Participate in an agile development cycle that supports successful engineering goals.
- Comfortable with code reviews and contributing to team best practices to help ensure delivery production quality code.
- Ability to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Some ability to mentor junior developers
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 5 years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency in Java 17 and core Java concepts
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Cloud)
- Familiarity with Hibernate ORM framework
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL)
- Experience with RESTful web services and API design
- Solid understanding of objectoriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with Maven
- Experience with Git
- Must be comfortable working in an agile environment
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in healthcare IT or related industries
- Healthcare EDI experience very helpful
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platform
- Experience with Docker containerization technologies
- Knowledge of Angular frontend technology
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
