The Product Representative plays a critical role in evaluating pricing and ensuring the feasibility of special and nonstandard office furniture requests. This role supports sales design and engineering teams by reviewing special product inquiries and delivering accurate timely quotes that align with client needs and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess special product requests and layout drawings from sales and design teams.
  • Liaise with vendors engineers and internal teams to gather necessary details for pricing and feasibility.
  • Establish cost and list price using appropriate quoting tools databases and software.
  • Develop and issue accurate quotes based on client specifications and production constraints
  • Ability to follow established processes consistently to ensure first time quality.
  • Maintain and track status of open requests ensuring timely followup and communication with stakeholders.
  • Establishes exceptional working relationships with sales and dealer representatives to assist in the sale.
  • Identify potential risks in special product requests and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Ability to gain and maintain extensive product knowledge within MillerKnoll product categories.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the special products quoting process.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred (Design Facilities Engineering or Business) or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 years of experience in office furniture interior design manufacturing and/or working directly with customers is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
  • Must exhibit a positive attitude and be able to participate in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively use software and tools used in the MillerKnoll office environment.
  • Organizational and timemanagement skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Nice to have

  • Experience with special or madetoorder products.
  • Background in project coordination or product development.
