Data Scientist Digital Technology Rising Leaders Program

Role Overview:
The Digital Technology (DT) Rising Leaders Program in data science is an exciting early career rotational program designed for recent graduates with a masters or PhD degree in a technologyrelated field. This twoyear program aims to develop future leaders for our DT Organization through a fasttrack system of three dynamic rotations each lasting eight months. Participants will gain handson experience in key areas such as Data Science & Analytics Business Applications & Mobility Program Delivery Enterprise & Cloud Architecture and our innovative Otis Accelerator (OX).
Upon completion of the program participants will transition into the role of a Data Scientist equipped with the skills and experience necessary to excel in this position.

On a typical day you will:
Rotational Program:
Participate in dynamic 8month rotations across key Digital Technology functions gaining exposure to core systems and processes.
Work on impactful realworld projects that address critical business challenges and contribute to the digitalization of Otis operations globally.
Collaborate with rotation managers and mentors to deepen technical knowledge develop innovative solutions and build crossfunctional leadership capabilities.
Engage with the DT Engagement Teams and DT Energy Board to support strategic initiatives and broaden your network.
Provide updates on your progress and impact through systembased tracking tools ensuring transparency and alignment with program goals.
Contribute to the development and of organizational strategies that leverage technology for longterm success.

Data Scientist Responsibilities:
Research and develop advanced AI models and algorithms to solve complex problems.
Design and implement machine learning deep learning systems and other data science solutions to solve specific business problems.
Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate AI and data science solutions into products and services.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and data science technologies.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

What You Will Need to be Successful:
Advanced degree (masters and/or Ph.D. required in Data Science Operations Research Statistics Computer Science Mathematics or a comparable field.
Good business acumen interested in business processes and can translate business problems into technical solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management.
Strong background in machine learning deep learning statistical modeling and/or optimization.
Experience with GenAI/AI/deep learning frameworks and libraries.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mediating data quality issues including measuring data quality determining sources of quality issues and solving them.
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.

The salary range for this role is $80000$85000. We may pay more or less than the posted range and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance and business or organizational needs.
