About the Role:
As a Retention Marketing Specialist at Food52 and Schoolhouse you will support the development and of customer retention strategies aimed at fostering longterm engagement and loyalty. In this role you will help nurture strong relationships with our customers contributing to improving customer lifetime value and supporting the growth of both brands.


You will collaborate with various teams (Marketing Product Customer Experience) to implement retentionfocused initiatives across email SMS loyalty programs and other channels. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to enhance customer retention reduce churn and build meaningful customer connections.


Ideal Candidate:
Were looking for a datadriven enthusiastic individual with 2 years of experience in customer retention or loyalty marketing. You are comfortable in a fastpaced environment eager to learn and passionate about using customer insights to drive impactful retention strategies. You thrive in collaboration are organized and enjoy working to create engaging customer experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Retention Strategy Support: Assist in the development and of customer retention strategies aimed at increasing customer lifetime value and reducing churn for both Food52 and Schoolhouse.
  • Customer Engagement: Help create and implement communication plans across various touchpoints (email SMS push notifications social media) to engage customers and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Customer Segmentation & Analysis: Use customer data to help identify key segments and support the creation of tailored retention strategies based on specific customer behaviors and needs.
  • Loyalty Program Support: Assist in managing loyalty programs ensuring they are running smoothly and effectively rewarding repeat customers.
  • Collaborative : Work with crossfunctional teams like Marketing Product and Customer Service to align on retention goals and create a consistent experience across all channels.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on retention KPIs (e.g. churn rate repeat purchase rate retention rate) to help evaluate and improve retention strategies.
  • Customer Feedback Loop: Collect and review customer feedback to help refine retention initiatives and ensure they align with customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in customer retention loyalty programs or CRM management (preferably in an ecommerce or DTC environment).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisionmaking.
  • Familiarity with email marketing SMS and other customer communication channels.
  • Experience with customer segmentation A/B testing and customer journey mapping.
  • Knowledge of loyalty programs and tools to drive customer engagement.
  • Good project management skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for creating customercentric strategies and improving the customer experience.

COMPENSATION

This is an exempt role.

The target pay range for this role is 80k 100k

This role is eligible for a bonus.
