The opportunity

Join us as Regional Contract Manager for Europe to support our Contract Management function within the European region in the Business Unit Transformers. With analytical handson and autonomous approach you contribute to the successful performance of contract cycle and relevant claim strategy.

How youll make an impact

  • Provide end to end assistance and guidance for the entire lifecycle of the contract. Ensuring all contract management activities are executed in accordance with Company/Business Unit directives and instructions including Company procedures and Business unit procedures

  • Ensure the portfolio of contracts in the regional business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with Company/Business unit/region standard procedures

  • Conduct contract and claims negotiations and settlements

  • Review and comment on commercial tender terms and conditions

  • Analyze prime contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk such as ambiguities omissions and conflicts as work proceeds

  • Negotiate contracts

  • Coordinate with Business Unit Head of CM to have a common approach to contract management within the region

  • Organize Contract Management in your respective geographical area

  • Drive resources needs to respond to business requirements on contract management

  • Define procedures to be applicable to the region in coordination with Business Unit

Your background

  • Degree in Law

  • Experience of minimum 10 years in contract management/legal in EP/EPC energy company or similar industrial plants

  • Experience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners

  • Solid experience in negotiation change management claim management and contractrelated issues and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility

  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment and intercultural awareness

  • Systematic and structured work style

  • Ability to negotiate in English. Any other language is an advantage.
