- Develops strong relationships and closely coordinates with Business Unit and Corporate Financial Management personnel.
- Responsible for or assists with Business Unit Financial Reporting & Analysis Competitive Benchmarking Forecasting Budgeting Profitability Analysis Financial Modeling Strategic Planning and Special Projects.
- Oversees the preparation of various financial reports providing data analysis and justification for management decisions.
- Manages projects including planning organizing and directing activities towards project goal completion including management reporting.
- Provide thought leadership in specific subject matters with other financial team members.
Qualifications
- Thorough business knowledge likely to be gained through 5 years of relevant work experience and may possess a relevant advanced degree.
- Broad financial and accounting knowledge and business acumen.
- Requires strong presentation and oral and written communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills in order to develop the financial tools/models necessary to capture the financial aspects of such projects.
- Experience with Business Intelligence and analysis tools such as Cognos BI TM1 and Power BI is preferred.
- Possess the ability to work effectively and build relationships across a matrix structure and with a diverse management team.
- Proven ability to multitask work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary Range:
$USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits 401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and wellbeing benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
