Role Summary
12 months Fixed Term Contract.
A Lead Rig Engineer / Rig Director is seen as a Skilled Person with expert technical knowledge full experience of the Rig they are cleared to operate. The Rig is a High Power Aircraft Electrical Installation to test GE Aerospace product operation in a full system.
The Rig Director is responsible for the safety of the test team and equipment involved with and within the area of each Test Rig. This position requires diligent focus and technical knowledge of laboratory equipment and the tests being conducted.
Skilled person (electrically). Person who possesses as appropriate to the nature of the electrical work to be undertaken adequate education training and practical skills and who is able to perceive risks and avoid hazards which electricity can create.

Qualifications / Requirements
Proven experience on complicated electrical test and supply systems both AC and DC. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job the individual must pay great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must also be experienced in a variety of different kinds of electrical devices and systems both AC and DC at high and low power
