The Vertex Coop Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a handson perspective. Job Summary:

The DTE Stage Gate Coordinator will support the Vertex Data Technology & Engineerings (DTE) new Project Stage Gate process. As we scale our technology operations need to adapt to ensure proper governance of technology deployments to meet DTE standards greater visibility into crossfunctional DTE resource utilization effective integrated planning and timely delivery of our commitments.

The coordinator is an important role in the success of the endtoend stage gate process specifically managing and monitoring the stage gate deck submissions conducting quality checks of material submitted management of approval workflow issuance of user surveys collecting change requests and supporting new releases of artifacts and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the demand funnel of stage gate requests to support the three DTE stage gates: Planning Build and Go Live.
• Coordinate the request submission resolution of questions/issues across a cross functional team
• Manage/organize the workflow of gate approvals by the Stage Gate Review Board and keep track/report of request status.
• Perform quality reviews of the gate material prior to submission to ensure the content for each stage gate are accurately and fully documented.
• Conducting User Surveys monthly
• Managing a change request log of new requests
• Supporting the monthly release cadence including updating PPT slides as needed
• Arrange for Stage Gate meetings (in person) for requests that require this level of interaction.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the IT Software Development Life Cycle (Plan Design Build Test Deploy)
• IT background and experience
• Strong organization and communication skills with cross functional teams.
• Ability to multitask
• Understanding of change management user surveys and release management concepts
• Proficient in MS PowerBI PowerPoint SharePoint EXCEL TEAMS and Planner

• Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before July 2025
• Candidate must be available to work fulltime 40 hours per week from July December 2025

Pay Range 20.00 35.00 USD/hour

The range provided is a reasonable estimate for the pay range for this job at the time of posting. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state requirements.
