The Need
For over 25 years IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade IJMs Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85 for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence we are seeking a Training & Development Intern to join the 2025 Fall Internship class.
The Training & Development Intern will support various initiatives executed by the Global Talent Pipeline & Development team who oversee and manage leadership development content and activities globally collaborate with learning leaders across regions to bridge gaps.
The Training & Development Intern will partner with the Training & Development Sr. Lead and key stakeholders to design develop and deploy holistic learning solutions and improve talent and development processes globally. Tasks may include:
Updating internal websites and processes;
Utilize IJMs LMS and learning design tools to assist in creating elearnings;
Creating and improving PowerPoint decks for training delivery;
Assisting in training deployment;
Assisting with course design develop and deployment; and
General administrative tasks and responsibilities.
This position is remote. It reports to the Sr. Lead Training & Development. The position requires 3040 hours per week.
Fall internship program dates are Sept. 8 Dec. 11 2025.
General Qualifications and Required Skills
Bachelors degree must be in progress for DC/Remote Internships and applicants need to have completed at leasttwoyears of undergraduate study.
Passion for learning and research.
PowerPoint advanced proficiency.

*What is a statement of faith
A statement of faith should describe your Christian faith and how you see it as relevant to your involvement with IJM. The statement can either be incorporated into the cover letter or submitted as a separate document and should include at a minimum a description of your spiritual disciplines (prayer study etc. and your current fellowship or place of worship.
