We are currently seeking a Director of Information Technologyto join our team in Seattle WA.
What will YOU do
The Director of IT manages and directs the organizations information technology (IT) operations ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support leadership and service.
What experience do YOU bring
We are seeking an IT professional who is familiar with or has worked in a human service providing nonprofit with five years of business technology security customerfocused approach and strategic guidance. The individual selected will hold emotional intelligence and relationship building as a core competency.
Pay Rate:$per year.
Work Schedule:Monday Through Friday 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance insight and knowledge about technology trends risks and innovations both to the organization and IT Department. Create an organizational data strategy to support our evolution as a data centered organization.
- Provide overall leadership and direction for Computing Platforms NetworkCloud Technology IT Compliance and Cyber Security.
- Lead development and implementation processes for the organizations IT systems.
- Develop and implement business continuity plans and protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
- Oversee security of systems networks and enterprise information. Facilitate IT security audits and/or investigations.
- Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs productivity levels upgrade requirements and other metrics and needs.
- Develop interpret and apply policies and procedures governing the overall delivery of IT services.
- Build and develop the technology team in a collaborative and effective healthy work environment. Build train and evaluate the technology team members.
- Provide strategic direction to the department and ensure alignment with the organizational mission.
- Develop and manage assigned budgets and operating plans. Reconcile code and approve invoices.
- Plan implement and evaluate program/department operations. Analyze data and prepare reports.
- Maintain legal and contractual compliance.
- Represent the organization to external stakeholders and audiences. Establish strong relationships with community partners serving diverse communities of older adults and people with disabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or related field. And/or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
- Five 5 years related experience required with at least two 2 years supervisory experience.
