This is a parttime position responsible for the professional and courteous serving of food and beverage to guests at an assigned F&B outlet within The Hotel Hershey.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Work as part of a team in an efficient professional and guest related manner to handle food and beverage service between 1933 and seasonal operating hours of Poolside.*
Take orders present orders keep the guest table clean and orderly (including clearing and resetting tables and floor maintenance as needed) and ensure that all the opening ongoing and closing side work is accomplished in an effective manner.*
Restock all dining and service areas clear and reset tables complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets ensure that condiments are amply supplied on the guests table prior to the guests taking their seats requisition supplies and maintain a clean and orderly work area.*
Maintain constant communication with the kitchen to meet the needs of the guests and provide maximum guest satisfaction.*
Answer questions from guests offer suggestions and handle guest complaints.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
2 years of high volume serving or bartending experience required
Must be able to pass the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) within the probation period.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Must display a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
Must be able to work independently and be selfmotivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
Must be friendly upbeat work well with other employees and be able to interact with guests
Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments in a high stress environment
Must be proficient in the knowledge of all food foodrelated items and beverage items (beverage items to include beer wine cocktails spirits and cordials).

This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet schedule requirements which will most likely require working flexible hours including days evenings weekends and holidays to meet operational demands.
Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures including hot and cold.
This position will work in paired zones within 1933 to maintain high standards of service. All tip outs will occur in accordance with the CBA.
