Job Description
My client a leader in Hong Kongs financial services landscape is embarking on a exciting journey to simplify and transform their business and IT landscape through a multiyear digitalization program. They are expanding the Digital Data and AI teams and currently seeking an Database Administrator to join them and support multiyear projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and manage database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Configure and maintain database servers focusing on health monitoring and performance optimization.
- Analyze and resolve issues in realtime providing comprehensive endtoend problem resolution.
- Support database migration to a centralized system on a corporate private cloud platform.
Skills and Experience for success:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4 years experience managing enterprise databases preferably with SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools like GitLab Ansible and Jenkins is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with good communication abilities in English and Chinese.
