Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced organizational effectiveness leader to spearhead highprofile needs across the G&A WWAS business lines. As Principal Organization Effectiveness (OE) you will be part of a small specialized Center of Excellence (CoE) charged with envisioning and implementing innovative org effectiveness solutions that help drive organizational performance. This role serves as a strategic partner to both HR and the business to conduct organization diagnostics identify opportunities for organization effectiveness (org design org health org transformation org optimization leader and team effectiveness change management) and implement solutions that drive positive sustainable business growth. To be successful in this role you must be capable of providing handson org effectiveness support to individual business executives while simultaneously creating simple yet impactful org effectiveness solutions to scale across the G&A WWAS organization.

Key job responsibilities
1 Organizational Assessment & Design
Conduct comprehensive organizational assessments to pinpoint opportunities for growth across culture mindsets and behaviors
Collaborate with business leaders to define organizational visions design principles and strategic roadmaps
Design scalable highimpact organizational solutions (e.g. structures operating models executive roles processes) tailored to evolving business needs
Continuously enhance solutions by studying internal data industry trends and leadingedge practices

2 Org Effectiveness Capability Building
Develop and implement organizational effectiveness capability building solutions including workshops AIenabled tools and resources at scale.
* Expertly deliver workshops and capability building sessions while simultaneously training senior HR peers to deliver the same
Build and maintain crossAmazon strategic partnerships to drive business leader and Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) capability building initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including business leaders and HR peers to understand organizational skill gaps provide feedback and ensure buyin for OE capability building initiatives.

3 Organizational Development & Transformation
Partner with leaders to optimize organizational performance drive highperforming teams and manage largescale changes
Guide senior teams in resolving role ambiguities process inefficiencies and other organizational challenges
Lead the design and delivery of enterprisewide organizational effectiveness services

4 Change Management & Strategic Communication
Expertly lead dottedline crossfunctional teams to maximize performance and achieve goals in ambiguous environments
Develop highimpact strategic communications that prioritize the user experience and drive adoption of new ways of working
Set the strategic direction for and lead subject matter experts in delivering purposeled resonating change content

5 Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Define track and communicate appropriate performance metrics to stakeholders
Leverage data and insights to drive continuous improvement of organizational solutions and increase transformation success
Partner with analytics experts to holistically evaluate solution effectiveness and unlock organizational value

Bachelors degree in Organizational Development Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex enterprisewide organizational effectiveness initiatives or large scale people strategies

Masters degree in Business Administration Industrial/Organizational Psychology Organizational Development or a related field
Experience working in a Center of Excellence responsible for creating then scaling enterprisewide org effectiveness solutions including those targeting Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs)
Expertise in organizational effectiveness org design large scale capability building large scale change management
Proficiency in systems thinking humancentered design and organizational development approaches
Expertise in emerging organizational effectiveness and organizational development practices tools and technologies
Demonstrated success in organizational assessment user research and datadriven solution design
Strong business acumen and sound judgment to understand customer needs and shape strategies
Proven ability to build trusted partnerships lead matrixed teams and influence senior stakeholders
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft crisp compelling docs that resonate with Amazon executives
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and interest in supporting a global team across multiple time zones.
Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and foster a continuous improvement mindset

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
