Job Description

Customer Accounts Supervisor

Location: Norwood NJ (Hybrid 1 day remote per week)
Type: FullTime/ Direct Hire

We are seeking an experienced Customer Accounts Supervisor to join a dynamic organization based in Norwood NJ. About the Role

As the Customer Accounts Supervisor you will manage a small team of up to 3 Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) while ensuring topnotch service delivery to customers. You ll lead with a handson approach resolving escalations tracking performance metrics and driving strategic solutions that benefit both the customer and the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise coach and mentor a team of up to 3 CSRs fostering a collaborative and highperforming environment.
  • Oversee and process customer orders with exceptional accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate shipments and resolve backorders or inventory issues.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries in close partnership with sales reps or branch managers.
  • Approve billing adjustments credits or invoices when necessary.
  • Monitor individual team members performance and provide actionable feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Lead customer service projects and support process improvements.
  • Train and onboard new employees while guiding the team on best practices.
  • Resolve issues like open orders invoice errors and billing concerns.
  • Enforce company standards policies and procedures with consistency.
  • Take initiative to find solutions that align with customer satisfaction and company goals.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience 2 4 years in a similar role).
  • At least 2 years of management experience including supervising a small team.
  • Strong leadership and problemsolving skills with a focus on motivating and developing a team.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities deadlines and workflow with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A selfmotivated professional with sound judgment analytical thinking and creative solutions.
  • Preferred Experience: Candidates with backgrounds in Chemical Manufacturing and/or Distribution particularly in the Fragrance and Flavor (F&F) sector are strongly encouraged to apply. This expertise will allow you to excel in navigating the complexities and demands of our industry.
