Please note this position is based in London and this will be the contractual location of the successful candidate other locations cannot be considered.
Compliance Analyst 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
This is a great job for someone who understands the investment management business model & process.
A bit about the job:
In this role you will be responsible for performing independent second line riskbased monitoring themed reviews and ad hoc reviews of procedures business and compliance processes to identify and escalate potential gaps in adherence to applicable laws regulations regulatory guidance and AI or Aviva Group policy. You will contribute to wellwritten coherent and succinct reports on reviews that are appropriate for circulation to senior stakeholders. Additionally you will oversee riskbased surveillance tasks to confirm that first line controls in respect of order/best processes market abuse prevention and conflicts of interest are operating effectively. Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships within relevant business areas is essential as is building strong relationships with and providing support to other Compliance team members.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Prior experience gained within compliance monitoring role in a financial firm is desirable.
Committed and hard working highly motivated selfstarter with a proactive approach.
Able to work individually as well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
Able to see through projects through to the end.
Able to think outside the box as well as tick the box.
