Job Description
Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate
Location: Chicago Illinois

Their firm is growing and they are seeking a skilledCommercial Litigation Associate to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Commercial Litigation Associate you will play a key role in handling a diverse range of litigation matters including contract disputes business torts real estate litigation and other complex commercial cases. Youll work closely with senior attorneys engage directly with clients and gain handson experience in all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution including trials and appeals
- Draft and argue motions pleadings and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Take and defend depositions attend hearings and participate in mediations
- Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver highquality legal counsel
- Stay current on legal trends and precedents affecting commercial litigation
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 4 years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm
- Strong research writing and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills
- Member in good standing and active in the Illinois Bar
