About the Role
The role involves the collection and delivery of pathology specimens from designated locations throughout Melbourne it also involves sorting of mail and delivery of pathology reports and consumables.
- Collection of specimens from designated locations as per courier runsheets
- Delivery of specimens and request forms to the Pathology Lab in the appropriate containers
- Collection sorting enveloping and delivery of Pathology reports
- Delivery of consumable items as required
- Adhere to the safety requirements of safe specimen transportation at all times
- To be able to achieve work goals and have the ability to work independently.
Classifications for this position is JJ8
Your Contribution
You are an experienced Pathology Courier who would like to join our courier team on a fixed term basis.
- Victorian Certificate of Education or equivalent)
- Full Victorian drivers Licence
- Experience as a Courier Driver

About the Department
The Pathology Courier Department is an essential part of the pathology service at St Vincents Hospital by providing the collection and transport of all pathology specimens from Medical Centres and our Pathology collection centres located throughout Melbourne.
