Responsibilities:
Provide Nurse Case Management and Nursing Delegation functions including 45day onsite assessments individual assessment of health status evaluation of medication administration delivery system to include: Review of Medication Administration Record(s) (MARs) Client Medications and Physician Medication Order Form(s) (PMOFs) for individuals needing nursing delegation services.

  • Oncall coverage for medical/nursingrelated matters
  • Provide evaluation of competency of Certified Medication Technicians
  • New Member Assessments
  • Develop initial nursing evaluation and the nursing plan of care
  • Available to staff to answer questions concerning medical and/or medication issues
  • Perform staff training and retraining as needed/requested
  • Consult with Physicians Family members and or team members and pharmacy personnel as

Needed/requested:

  • Comply with the standards outlined in the Maryland State Board Nurse Practice Act
  • Compliance with the Health insurance Portability and Accountability Act

What you will need for this position:

  • You have a positive attitude and love working with people!
  • A graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
  • Active RN license
  • Delegating Nurse Certificate
  • Minimum of one year of experience in assisted living hospice home health acute or longterm care environment.
