Company:
Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Custodian/Janitor to support our business in the Chantilly VA. area.
The candidate will work with another custodian performing janitorial task for our customers commercial facility but must be able to complete tasks with no supervision. Candidate will also report daily to a team lead.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage all assigned activities as they pertain to the cleanliness of a customer facility
- Daily cleaning of caf restrooms and office spaces
- Daily empties trash and moves it to the onsite dumpster. Daily vacuums floors and carpets
- Daily damp mops/cleans VCT and other hard surface flooring
- Spot cleans carpets and floors. Periodic waxing/deep cleaning floors as necessary
- Cleans up spills as needed
- Cleans/dusts blinds windows baseboards and interior glass windows
- Phased cleaning approach to customer zones as required
- Responsible for routinely checking the exterior grounds and ensuring all trash and debris is collected and disposed of
- Assist other facility personnel with setting up and taking down tables and chairs to support customer events
- May also be required at times to assist facility personnel with minor construction and O&M tasks
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years custodian/janitorial experience
- Capable of lifting 35lbs on a frequent basis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with green products
