About the Role
At Scribd we believe access to knowledge should be frictionlessand that starts with a seamless and scalable billing and payments experience.
Were building a worldclass Payments & Billing team to power our global subscription business. As the product leader youll define the vision set the roadmap and lead across our core revenue infrastructure: billing systems payment platforms vendor ecosystems and compliance enablers.
This is a highimpact highownership opportunity to architect the systems that power a multimillion dollar business and build the foundation for longterm growth. Youll collaborate closely with Engineering Finance Risk Legal and external partners to deliver outcomes that are strategic resilient and futureproof.

What Youll Do
Own the product strategy and roadmap for all payments and billing infrastructuresubscription lifecycle transaction flows revenue tooling compliance and more
Drive crossfunctional across Finance Risk Engineering and thirdparty vendors to deliver scalable secure and userfriendly systems
Define and deliver against outcomeswith a strong focus on metrics speed and business impact
Manage critical vendor relationships (e.g. Stripe PayPal tax engines) shaping strategy and contracts to support Scribds goals
Stay ahead of the curve proactively identifying risks technical debt and new opportunities in the payments ecosystem
Serve as the companys product expert in payments and billingable to communicate clearly across all levels and functions

At Scribd your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role level and geographic location. San Francisco is our highest geographic market in the United States. In the state of California the reasonably expected salary range is between $157500 minimum salary in our lowest geographic market within California to $255250 maximum salary in our highest geographic market within California.
In the United States outside of California the reasonably expected salary range is between $130000 minimum salary in our lowest US geographic market outside of California to $242500 maximum salary in our highest US geographic market outside of California.
In Canada the reasonably expected salary range is between $165000 CADminimum salary in our lowest geographic market to $227250 CADmaximum salary in our highest geographic market.
We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation including but not limited to experience; jobrelated skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a competitive equity ownership and a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
