Dental Assisting Instructor
Location: Heber UT
Status: Parttime
Hours: 23 days a week in the morning; 7:30 a.m. 10:30 a.m.
Pay / Salary: $24.09 / Hour

What Youll Do:
Responsibilities of the Dental Assisting Instructor include but are not limited to:
- Deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a strong focus on handson skillbased competency training.
- Create and/or update lesson plans for both classroom and lab activities.
- Manage and supervise students during classroom instruction and practical training.
- Assess student progress through written oral practical and performance evaluations.
- Foster a studentcentered learning environment while maintaining a positive and effective classroom atmosphere. Inspect equipment daily for safety ensuring proper maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Keep accurate and uptodate records of student performance attendance and accountability.
What Were Looking For:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program with a valid certificate of completion.
- At least five years of professional experience in the dental assisting field.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- DANB National Certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
