Job Description

Erie County Medical Center Corp is an advanced medical center located in Buffalo NY providing coverage for the eight 8 counties of Western New York Southern Ontario and Northern PA. ECMCC is verified by ACOS and NYSDOH as a Level 1 Trauma Center with 573 inpatient beds. ECMCC is als the regional center for burn care and transplantation. As a collaborative partner in the Great Lakes Cancer Care network ECMCC works in tandem with Kaleida Health and 6 other partner seeks an experienced candidate to join a team composed of a board certified cardiologists APPs and a strong support staff. Candidate would work in partnership with other hospital service lines including:Critical carePrimary careHospitalist groupEmergency departmentDiagnostic cardiac catheterization Duties and ResponsibilitiesCandidate will provide inpatient coverage and call outpatient E&M and cardiac testing weekday and weekend call testing includes EKG Echo Stress test. May include more as agreed CT reading is for cardiac CT can be communicate recommendations with attending providersClearly communicate goals related to cardiac health to patient and in interdisciplinary model of educator and preceptor role to advance practice providers medical students fellows and students rotating on care in quality improvement and educational initiatives as needed. Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range $400000$515000*RVU productivity in additionSign on bonus and relocation assistance availablePaid PTO and holidaysCME allowance and paid days offHealth and retirement benefitsEmployer paid occurrencebased malpractice insurance *Base rate is not inclusive of productivity and quality incentives that service line specific positions may qualify for in their department. Signing retention and relocation bonuses may also be available and would also be in addition to base salary compensation. The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting. When determining pay several factors will be considered including but not limited to location specialty service line years of relevant experience education professional credentials internal equity and budget.
