We are looking for a Workday Integration Expert with 35 years of experience who brings strong expertise in Workday Studio Core Connectors Payroll and Benefits Connectors and Web Services (SOAP/REST). This role demands a strong analytical mindset excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the flexibility to learn and adopt new nonWorkday technologies as needed.
Integration Engineers are responsible for building integration solutions with our customers and partners. They are integral in recommending and implementing optimised integration solutions to simplify and improve the businesss daytoday .
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio EIB Connectors (Payroll Benefits) and Web Services.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including HR Payroll Benefits Finance and IT to understand integration needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Drive the integration lifecycle: from requirement gathering through design development testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with a focus on longterm stability.
- Ensure Workday integrations are compliant with data privacy and security standards.
- Partner with stakeholders across regions and time zones to ensure alignment with business goals and transformation roadmaps.
- Demonstrate an open and proactive attitude toward learning new nonWorkday technologies (e.g. cloud platforms middleware tools API frameworks).
- Contribute to the broader HR technology roadmap by identifying integration opportunities and supporting digital innovation.
Required Qualifications
- 35 years of handson Workday integration experience with a strong command of Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors Payroll/Benefits Connectors and Web Services.
- Strong understanding of the Workday HCM data model business processes and security.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- A growth mindset and willingness to step beyond Workday to support Maersks digital goals.
- Experience in global organizations and comfort working in fastpaced matrixed environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with reporting tools middleware platforms or cloud integration technologies.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Exposure to nonWorkday HRIS systems or external data platforms.
