The Horizon Christian Program (HCP) contains over 100 students from grades 612 and continues to grow every year. Our staff and students are committed to creating a faithbased culturally sensitive educationcentered environment which accommodates all student learning needs.
Probationary Parttime Teacher 1.0 FTE for theyear D.A. Ferguson Middle School/ Horizon Christian Program
Assignment includes Social Studies/ Science Grade 7 & 8 and possibly PhysEd and some CTF classes
We are seeking an individual passionate about working with English as an additional language (EAL) students. Someone that is kind patient and able to build meaningful connections with students both in the classroom and through extracurricular opportunities. Applicants should be comfortable delivering curriculum in a manner that takes into consideration the cultural and religious contexts of the students in our setting.
This position will commence August 18th 2025 and conclude on June 30th 2026 .
