Overview:

This role will support the DACH CEE NL PL region with design and development of permanent and temporary Visual Merchandising design adaptations and solutions aligned to our Sol de Janeiro brand strategy and forwardthinking brand goals. This role will partner closely with the DACH CEE NL PL VM and Commercial teams to drive onbrand retail and instore merchandising solutions aligned with International business objectives while also ensuring all work follows Global Brand guidelines.

They must be a selfstarter with strong knowledge of instore merchandising principles print production and installation processes to deliver projects from concept to . They must also have a keen understanding of instore Communication visual storytelling and messaging tailored towards specific consumer personas of our brand.

This role will report to the Design & Visual Merchandising DACH CEE NL PL. This role will be focused on the EMEA regions and based in our Dsseldorf office.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design development and of operational VM requests ensuring to align with International Creative to ensure seamless across all VM touchpoints (Permanent VM Roll Out Planograms Trade events Events)
  • Design development and alignment with Commercial and international VM teams to deliver permanent merchandising solutions and trade activation projects across multiple retailers (for e.g. Douglas Globus etc.
  • Partner closely with the Manager Design & Visual Merchandising to validate timelines and retailer expectations to ensure all creative output is delivered on time and on budget
  • Own projects from design concept to with external partners and suppliers internal project management commercial teams for design validation and timeline management
  • Creatively solve design challenges while following Global and brand guidelines
  • Translate and adapt existing designs to a wide range of retailer fixture formats in both 3D and 2D.
  • Organize and prepare files for final artwork release to vendors and follow up on in partnership with local markets and commercial teams

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/BFA degree in Graphic Design or Industrial Design with Graphic Design working experience.
  • 3 years experience working in an instore design role.
  • Software Requirements: Adobe Indesign Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Sketchup/3D rendering software and VRAY
  • Proficient in planogramming and knowledge of 3D structures and spaces.
  • A deep knowledge of print design and print production.
  • Understanding of branding and graphic storytelling within the retail environment.
  • Understanding of vendor specifications and technical drawings.
  • The ideal candidate is a master graphic technician: concerned with resolutions color and size accuracies production values. Must know the difference between CMYK and RBG spot color and process a vector or a raster etc.
  • Career track record that shows the candidate has a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines using excellent organizational skills quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely ability to provide and receive constructive feedback that is necessary to improve designs.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be highly collaborative with ability to understand the objectives of all crossfunctional partners and work toward a design that meets that need and upholds the creative integrity of the brand.
  • Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule 3 days per week in our Dsseldorf Office)
  • This role may have substantial travel to meet business needs
