Sentara Health is hiring a Financial Analyst for the Laboratory Finance Department.
This is a Fulltime 40 hours per week Day shift position MonFri between the hours of 8:00am5:00pm. Hybrid.
Assist financial consultants and managers with data mining and analyzing data from multiple sources. Assist in creating and maintaining reports for business operations and special projects to provide managers and directors with financial information to make strategic and operational decisions. Assist in obtaining data for use in financial modeling as well as testing and validation of financial data. Assist in financial reporting related special projects tasks and activities to support the overall department objectives and goals of the system.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or Health Service Administration required. MBA preferred.
- In lieu of education 35 years experience as a financial analyst or comparable position.
Certification/Licensure
- CPA preferred.
Experience
- Three years of Financial Analyst experience required.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
