Immediate Opening: Field Engineer (AutoCAD Specialist)
Location:Onsite in Plano TX
Extensive Travel Required
AutoCAD Expertise Needed

Our client has an immediate need for a Field Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments. If youre passionate about engineering travel and handson technical work especially with AutoCAD and Central Office infrastructure this opportunity is tailormade for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project documentation(SOWs material lists connectivity plans and site contacts)
- Schedule and conduct onsite surveys capturing critical site data
- Complete COPOnsite checklistsaccurately and efficiently
- Develop and update floor plans including Cable Rack Fiber Duct Grounding and Lighting Plans using AutoCAD
- Summarize site specificationsand prepare customer approval letters
- Release interim drawingsto Hardware Engineering teams
- Build 777 Specifications including:
- IRM (Installation Related Materials) Lists
- Cable Tags for External Power and Grounding
- Upload and manage project datain company databases according to process
Key Deliverables:
- COP Form(for Hardware Engineer input)
- Updated Floor Plans(for Hardware and Installation Teams)
- 777 Specifications(IRM materials and documentation)
Tools Youll Use:
- Eagle(Configuration and spec creation platform)
- AutoCAD(Essential for floorplan creation and updates)
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCADfor creating and modifying technical floorplans
- Strong attention to detail for site surveys and documentation
- Ability to travel extensively to various project locations
- Knowledge of Central Office environments preferred
- Highly organized proactive and excellent at communication
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
