Job Description
Join MCN Distributors a Rheem company where we provide toptier HVAC solutions to contractors multifamily industries and commercial properties across the Northeast. Were looking for a reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to be an essential part of our team delivering excellent service and embodying our company values. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting have operated a box truck or van that does not require a CDL as well as a clean driving record.
Pay Range is $20.00 23.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Drive straight truck and follow all safety procedures per company policy
- Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
- Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pretrip and posttrip inspections
- Provide quality customer service
- Pull product load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties
- Back up other drivers routes when needed
- Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate action
- Operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT medical card
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis
- Forklift experience is highly preferred
- Work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of satisfactory driving experience
