Accounting Associate

Join a leading steel fabrication and construction firm known for delivering fully integrated services across commercial and residential projects. This growing company is looking for an Accounting Associate to support the Chief Financial Officer with daily financial operations with a primary focus on accounts payable.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detailoriented professional with a solid foundation in accounting and a proactive mindset toward organization and process efficiency.
Accounting Associate Responsibilities:
- Verifies and enters vendor invoices with accurate coding and proper documentation
- Prepares and issues vendor payments on a regular schedule and as needed
- Communicates with vendors to address returned or outstanding checks
- Tracks and manages recurring payments including business license renewals
- Assists the CFO in resolving financial discrepancies or concerns
- Provides general accounting support and contributes to special projects as assigned
Accounting Associate Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Access Outlook and Word
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Prior experience in an accounting or financerelated role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Foundational knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with effective time management and accuracy in task completion
