Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will serve a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Project Kuiper Marketing team is looking for a talented resultsoriented individual to lead marketing media planning in US and Canada. This role is responsible for planning buying measuring and optimizing media marketing investments across multiple channels and locales in partnership with our media agency. The ideal candidate for this role is a selfstarter and able to work effectively in a matrixed organization. You must have a track record of scaling and optimizing marketing media investments through media planning budget management and campaign measurement.

We are looking for someone adept at building and executing effective largescale marketing campaigns that drive awareness consideration and demand. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to leverage your strategic and executional crosschannel expertise while experiencing the excitement and growth of Amazons low Earth orbit satellite broadband business and engaging with colleagues and stakeholders at a global regional and local level.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning implementation and measurement of integrated multichannel campaigns designed to drive awareness consideration and demand for Project Kuiper.
Coordinate media plans across US and Canada.
Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence teams to measure impact of media investment and regularly report on performance up to Director level adjusting strategically and tactically as needed.
Collaborate across a dynamic ecosystem of stakeholders from multiple functions (business finance insights and measurement creative and other marketing teams) at a local regional and global level.
Partner with our external media agency in support of fixed media planning and buying.
Manage budget with accountability for campaign return on investment (ROI).
Develop mechanisms for scalability across multiple marketplaces.
Ensure clear consistent and frequent communication with stakeholder teams to outline strategy tactics goals and performance for campaigns.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

5 years of professional noninternship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables)
Experience building executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience in audience segmentation and targeting

Experience working at a technology or telecommunications company
Experience managing external media agency partners

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
