About the role
Contributing to a dynamic collections team dedicated to delivering highquality care and service to clients.
Collect pathology specimens across various Collection Centres and the Darlinghurst Campus.
Ensure accurate labeling processing and handling of all specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols.
Maintain thorough and accurate patient records including completion of all necessary documentation and clerical tasks.
Uphold strict adherence to infection control hygiene standards and workplace safety procedures.
About You
Six months handson experience using the vacutainer method with strong knowledge of venepuncture techniques and relevant qualifications in pathology collection.
Proven ability to deliver highquality customer service maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision demonstrating initiative and reliability in daily tasks.
Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to work varied shifts and travel between multiple pathology collection centres as required.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices along with strong communication and interpersonal skills gained through practical workplace experience.
