About the role

• Contributing to a dynamic collections team dedicated to delivering highquality care and service to clients.

• Collect pathology specimens across various Collection Centres and the Darlinghurst Campus.

• Ensure accurate labeling processing and handling of all specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols.

• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records including completion of all necessary documentation and clerical tasks.

• Uphold strict adherence to infection control hygiene standards and workplace safety procedures.

About You

• Six months handson experience using the vacutainer method with strong knowledge of venepuncture techniques and relevant qualifications in pathology collection.

• Proven ability to deliver highquality customer service maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision demonstrating initiative and reliability in daily tasks.

• Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to work varied shifts and travel between multiple pathology collection centres as required.

• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices along with strong communication and interpersonal skills gained through practical workplace experience.
