Job Title: Software Development Manager
Location: Bengaluru India
Job Type: Fulltime
Introduction: We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our dynamic team in designing and developing a stateoftheart cloud based SaaS application. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical acumen with handson experience in backend and frontend technologies and a proven track record of leading software development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software developers and QA engineers skilled in Java Python React and in the development of our SaaS application.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle including planning design development deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product managers architects and operational teams to ensure that the software solution aligns with company goals customer needs and operational requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team encouraging best practices in code health testing and maintainability.
- Review and approve proposed development releases and manage the release process.
- Monitor technology trends and ensure the team is integrating new technology into the application architecture as appropriate.
- Ensure the creation of scalable maintainable and reliable highquality software.
- Support the professional development of team members through coaching performance management and goal setting.
- Handle daytoday administrative tasks such as reporting team performance evaluations and recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in software development and 3 years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
- Strong proficiency in Java Python and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React and .
- Experience with cloud environments preferably AWS and understanding of SaaS application architecture.
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- GIS experience will be a plus
- Demonstrated experience in the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to lead projects from concept to deployment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills capable of motivating and guiding a team of developers.
- Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and remote team member
