Job Description
The Montgomery County School Board Virginia is now accepting applications for Lunch/Recess Aide positions that may become available in the division for theschool year.
Please note this is a continuous recruit posting to build an applicant pool for all schools. As positions become available all qualified applicants with complete application files will be considered. Should a specific location/job be posted you may also be required to apply to that posting.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The lunch and recess aide maintains order among children assists in the directing of the students to and from the cafeteria performs general housekeeping in the cafeteria and assists cafeteria staff with any other necessary duties. The lunch and recess aide assists in the directing of the students to and from the playground and classroom communicates with teachers about student behavior during recess and assists teachers with any other necessary duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and coworkers
- Have previous experience working with children
- Dependability and punctuality required
SALARY: $15.00 $27.51 per hour; depending on experience in similar position (salary may change due tobudget considerations)
