Job Description

The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the UPMC Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a clinicianresearcher at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. The ideal candidate for this position will be a clinicianresearcher with a track record of successful research funding mentorship and leadership. Earlycareer candidates will be mentored within our robust research environment; more senior candidates will have leadership opportunities. Opportunity DetailsThe Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics has a mature and robust research infrastructure. Research assistants screen and enroll study patients from 7 AM through 11 PM weekdays and for 8 hours each day on weekends. The research staff includes four Registered Nurses and two undergraduate students. A total of 19000 patients have been consented in research studies during the last ten years; 2246 were enrolled in 2023. The infrastructure is supported by several federal grants including the HRSAfunded Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN).What we OfferRelocation assistanceCME allowance plus time PTO plus holidaysCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience Academic rank will be offered commensurate with experience and benefit package including health dental vision and pension and occurrencebased malpractice
