The School District of Washington is currently seeking an Assistant Coach for the Boys Soccer team at Washington High School for 25/26 School Year.

POSITION SUMMARY Primary purpose of job)
Coaches are responsible for providing direct instruction to students and maintaining an environment conducive to learning assisting each participant to achieve. Education includes sport skill technique and an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship. This position is an extension of the educational environment of the District.
SPHERE AND SCOPE OF INFLUENCE (Supervisory scope district impact and budgetary responsibility)
Coaches are responsible for supervising students providing instruction on the skills necessary for achievement in the activity and coordinating all aspects of the activity. Communicating with parents patrons staff and media to advance the District vision mission and goals is critical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Major duties which the position exists to perform)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise students at all times and/or as directed by supervisor
Supervise events as described above and/or directed by supervisor
Supervise other coaches if applicable and volunteers
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Minimum educational requirements licenses skills and experience required as well as preferred options)
Valid Missouri teaching certification preferred
One year of teaching or educational experience preferred
One year of coaching experience preferred
DISTRICT EXPECTATIONS
