Senior Design Manager
I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Manager to join my clients dynamic team. As a key member of our design team the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of luxury property development. This fulltime position is based in their West London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept Design:
- Leading the development of innovative and inspiring design concepts for highend residential and commercial projects.
- Collaborating with clients architects and other stakeholders to understand their vision and translate it into compelling design solutions.
- Conducting indepth research on materials finishes and trends to ensure designs are cuttingedge and timeless.
- Technical Design:
- Overseeing the technical design process including space planning furniture layouts and detailed specifications.
- Working closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure seamless of design concepts.
- Managing the production of highquality design documentation such as floor plans elevations and 3D renderings.
- Sourcing and specifying highend materials finishes and furnishings collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve the desired aesthetic and quality standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentoring and guiding junior designers fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Managing project timelines and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Contributing to the development of design standards and guidelines for the company.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in luxury interior design with a strong portfolio of highend residential and commercial projects.
- Excellent design skills including a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of materials finishes and color palettes.
- Strong technical proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp and 3D rendering tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for luxury design and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
