Job Description

Special Education Teacher Grades 4 5 & 6The Special Education teacher is responsible for planning and delivery of curriculum. The teacher is also responsible for writing IEPs participating in PPTs and meeting with parents. The teacher must also be skilled in providing support and supervision to paraprofessionals and general educators to implement :Uphold administrative regulations school rules policies as determined by the state and local boards of education and negotiated evaluate and develop educational plans for implement Individual Education Programs for students in the interpret needs of students in the program to other school staff and evaluate student progress and report to other school staff and maintain a daily and weekly function as a member of the Planning and Placement Team in: evaluating and recommending educational programming for referred provide consultation to classroom teachers in working with children with assist in development of program needs analysis objectives activities and evaluation for the special education :Connecticut Special Education Teacher Certification required 165 or with 4th 5th & 6th gradestudents; including academic content lesson modification delivery of services within an inclusive have strong collaboration and communication assessment and report writing understanding of students with disabilities in all interested please apply on our website: District Employment EoE
