Ginsbergs Foods in Hudson NY is looking to hire a fulltime Night Warehouse Supervisor!

The Night Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the coordination supervision and delegation of the warehouse operations workload to the Warehouse Associates and other designated Warehouse Personnel. The position requires you to maintain an active presence on the warehouse floor throughout the shift to provide direct support to the Warehouse Associates and other designated Warehouse Personnel to ensure operational objectives are met efficiently and accurately.
Weekly Work Schedule is Sundays Thursdays hours will vary
The Night Warehouse Supervisor is a salaried position that ranges anywhere from $60k $75k per year based on a successful candidates level of experience.
On the job you will help to keep operations running smoothly provide an opendoor communication policy with employees and learn the inner workings of the warehouse and product all while being supported by other leaders on the team.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Leads the Warehouse Associates and other designated Warehouse Personnel by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established company goals objectives and policies.
- Engages and develops employees through coaching counseling disciplinary action mentoring recognition and performance reviews.
- Attains daily productivity standards through actively managing the employee performance levels and allocating resources to meet business demands within all warehousing functions.
- Oversees new hire orientation and reoccurring training of employees through direct partnership with the Employee Development Coordinator and the Warehouse Trainers.
- Responsible for slotting reviewing case flow for reslotting and establishing new item slots to drive operational efficiency.
- Maintains accurate company data integrity through the use of the warehouse management software (Retalix).
- Coordinates activities and executes regular onfloor audits to maintain compliance with all appropriate food safety HACCP safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Documents and reviews reporting results on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
