Accounting & AR Coordinator Job Description:

Responsible for AR collections cash receipts new customer account setup daily sales reporting and assists with some data entry inventory functions.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for collections sending emails statements making phone calls and follow ups with customers.
  • Responsible for daily bank deposit on site. Occasional trip to bank branch for cash deposit. Candidate must have a reliable mode of transportation.
  • Responsible for cash receipts application and posting.
  • Responsible for submitting invoices for payment using various sites and portals. Candidate must feel comfortable navigating through different web portals.
  • Responsible for daily credit card processing.
  • Set up new customer accounts which include checking bank and trade reference to assign payment terms.
  • Assist with other accounting functions/projects as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Ability to multitask/manage many ongoing duties simultaneously
  • Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains preferred or other ERP system
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented/very organized
  • Selfstarter
  • Team player
