Milton Town School District seeks an Elementary Instructional Coach to build the schools capacity and teachers to meet the learning needs and enable high levels of learning for all students. The instructional coachs goal is to ensure that the school staff acquires the understanding and skills to 1 enhance instructional practices at the classroom level; 2 raise the level of student achievement. This person has the inherent belief that all children will learn at high levels because of their actions. The coachs role is separate and apart from the evaluative part of the principal or supervisor of the teacher. The coach advocates for facilitates and supports the teachers work but never performs supervision or evaluation.
