Description

We are hiring an Entry Digital Hardware Engineer to join our Digital team based in Austin Texas. As a Digital Hardware Engineer you will enjoy challenging work across multiple business areas the unique opportunity to take ownership of your products and be involved in all aspects of the product development cycle including design prototyping development testing and manufacturing production.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Learn professional techniques and perform tasks for one or more of these areas: schematic design board layout board validation or FPGA programming
  • Work and interact with a wide variety of T&M staff in R&D hardware and software organizations
  • Develop hardware and software solutions for design validation
  • Perform research as required to complete your projects
  • Diagnose and debug technical challenges

Who You Are:

You are someone who works collaboratively in a group environment and demonstrate strong problemsolving skills. You take initiative can be resourceful and can make progress on work independently. You take ownership of your goals regularly checkin and ask questions in a timely manner to ensure success of project and tasks.

For this Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Computer or Software Engineering or similar STEMrelated field
  • Proficiency designing with digital logic and synchronous elements including flipflops timing diagrams and state machines
  • Proficiency with FPGA design using HDL (VHDL Verilog or System Verilog preferred)
  • Fundamental knowledge of:
    • Computer architectures and interfaces
    • Software programming languages (e.g. python C LabVIEW)
    • Analog circuit design
