Job Description
Summary:
We are looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer with user insight creativity and design experienceto joinourProduct Design team. If you love designing a great user experiencethen you would be a great fitforour team.
Role:
You will work with one or more crossfunctional product teams business stakeholders endusers and fellow UX practitioners to identify key problems and opportunities. You will use humancentered and datadriven principles while employing your keen ability to empathize to conceptualize and validate solutions that deliver the most usable viable feasible and delightful solutions aligned with business goals. Activities include:
- collaborating with stakeholders to discover elicit and analyze problems and requirements;
- task and workflow analysis flow/process diagramming journey mapping;
- formative concept design wireframes;
- multifidelity prototyping usability testing and validation evidencedriven iteration;
- userinterface and interaction design specification;
- implementation support.
You will work with the abovementioned collaborators on one or more products. You will be responsible for ensuring organizational UX Standards are implemented for both usability and experiential consistency
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 5 years experience with:
- HumanCentered Design in an agile software development environment;
- Creating and executing usability testing;
- Designing usable interfaces with complex multistep interactions and/or complex information visualizations.
- Bachelors degree in HumanCentered Design HumanComputer Interaction Cognitive Science Information Science or relative experience
- Demonstrable experience in/with:
- Designing responsive web applications or mobile applications.
- Bonus: you approach design problems with a mobile first mentality.
- Web accessibility and assistive technologies (screen readers etc..
- Tools such as Axure Invision Sketch MIRO Adobe CS or similar.
- Designing responsive web applications or mobile applications.
- Ability to translate design specs to technical teams.
- Ability to work with both collocated and remote collaborators.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript is highly desired.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities potentially across different products maintaining acute attention to details.
