Position Summary:
Performs routine and complex electroencephalographic evoked potential and polysomnographic recordings and intraoperative monitoring according to established standards and practices as directed.
Reports to: Manager
FLSA: Nonexempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs standard and complex EEG VEEG EP MSLT and MWT recordings and monitoring as ordered by Physicians.
Performs neurophysiologic monitoring in the operating room as ordered by physician.
Abstracts relevant information from the patients clinical record and obtains additional information if necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduated from accredited CAAHEP program (Preferred)
*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLSHCP)
