Responsibilities:
Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for thirdparty clients and freight carriers.
Manage a high volume of professional communication with clients suppliers and internal teams.
Participate in and lead weekly department meetings.
Inventory Management
Oversee and verify all inbound shipments checking for breakage variances and accuracy.
Supervise outbound shipments including BOL creation order vetting and supervising loading activities.
Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of all transactions in the Public Warehouse management system.
Ensure code date integrity and adherence to FIFO inventory rotation standards.
Freight & Billing Coordination
Coordinate and schedule local freight pickups.
Generate and process billing for warehouse tenants freight services and casehandling charges.
Validate and manage case handling reports and ensure billing accuracy.
Safety
Enforce Union safety policies to maintain a clean organized and hazardfree work environment.
Direct maintenance support when necessary to uphold facility safety standards.
Employee Development & Onboarding
Oversee the onboarding and training of new warehouse employees including facility orientation equipment training and SOP education.
Support safety and operational training compliance including Worklete and equipment certification programs.
Flexibility
Support Public Warehouse operations and flex across related departments as business needs evolve.
Take on evolving responsibilities and initiatives to support operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of experience in warehouse operations inventory control or public warehouse management.
Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and billing practices.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive problemsolving mindset.
Ability to lead and motivate teams to meet objectives.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
